A project for driving a car without driver has already been tried by Google and other car manufacturing companies but Cruise is the first startup to officially install self-driving car technology in consumer vehicles.

Zillionize has invested in Cruise – manufacturer of a self-driving aftermarket kit to drive your cars on autopilot mode on highways. It uses advanced machine vision and sensors technology to keep your car within driving lane and at a distance from the front car. The driving speed accelerates itself according to nearby cars. It reduces speed and even stops in case of traffic or a stopped vehicle in front. Cruise claims that their product offer more safety while driving and many hours that drivers spent on commuting. The cruise auto-driving kit can primarily be installed in Audi vehicles on highways in San Francisco Bay area.
